On 3/21/22 five newborn kittens were taken from their mom and turned over to a citizen who quickly realized she was in over her head. She turned them over to our rescue, but not before one of the kittens died. They were cold to the touch on intake and despite our best efforts, 3 more kittens died over the next 48 hours. But one survived.
Then on 3/25/22 Francesca gave birth to 4 kittens in foster. We introduced the surviving kitten to her and she immediately accepted him as one of her own.
Francesca and all 5 babies and happy and healthy!
